Responsibilities:

? With the responsibility of discovering and developing preclinical stage drug candidates for China market and potentially global markets, there is an immediate need of a senior pharmacology leader with extensive expertise in gastrointestinal tract immunology/inflammation, drug R&D experience and botanical drug discovery
? Lead and be accountable for the pharmacology activities for botanical drug projects
? Interact with internal or external expertise and resources for discovery and development needs
? Establish preferred vendors/collaborators for preclinical development
? Work effectively with other technical functional lines
? In accordance with the requirements for the CFDA, FDA, EMA, audit research plan, and analyze the research data and finish the experiment report


Qualifications:

? Ph.D. in Gastrointestinal clinical medicine/Biology/Pharmacology/Pathology with demonstrated competency of scientific achievements within the pharmaceutical industry
? With extended experience and training in pharmacology/biology and a minimum of 5 years working experience in preclinical research of TCM drug discovery, GI pharmacology area and project leadership
? A broad and integrated knowledge of immunological/anti-inflammatory drug discovery and development
? Familiar with the CFDA and FDA, EMA preclinical pharmacology research regulations and technical guidelines
? Demonstrate leadership and ability to work effectively in and lead cross-functional teams
? Solid English skills (good writing and oral communication)
